She has stated some concerns regarding the activities and will be expecting a reply soon! "Need your inputs before Tuesday (November 10, 2009)."
Details are as follows:
Dear JOLOGS,
I am officially taking the responsibility to lead this year's outreach program. :) I hope okay lang sa inyo. D na kc makausap si Nie dahil sa work nya. Pero rest assured guided nya ako (naks, mentor :) )
Anyway, since nanalo ang adopt a street kid na option, I guess we should design the activity with our beneficiaries in mind. :) So decide na po tau anong age group ang gusto natin at kung community based ba ang gusto nating service. Should we partner with a daycare, public elementary school (will entail paper works ) or aonther orphanage (take out the kids)?
If we push through with a combined 'tree planting/adopt a kid" option, how are we to make sure that our activity will be enjoyable for our kid-beneficiaries? I've been to La mesa Eco Park at medyo madami din namang choices na gagawin dun like boating, wall climbing, walking trails and all. Im just afraid na baka hindi masyado exciting yun for the kid, baka lang po hindi enough ang puppet show para maalis sila. So we really need to identify our beneficiaries.
So linawin po muna natin ang goal natin :) Ano ba talaga kuya? hjehehehe
1) To share a day with less fortunate kids and give them a happy childhood memory (Sharing as defined in here, means talagang 1 kid per jologs or 2, as in taking full responsibility talaga)
2) To share a day with less fortunate kids and help them understand the importance of nature conservation (cguro pag ganto older age group kailangan natin like mga grade 3-4, but not so sure din, hehe)
Madami pa pde masabi na goals, pero I hope you get what I mean, dun po based ang ating magiging activity and all.
So yun po muna. Need your inputs before Tuesday po. Thanks.
Chelle
