Highlights/Updates:
ACTIVITY: Adopt a Kid
VENUE: La Mesa Eco Park:
I. Changes/Adjustments in Plans:
1. We will have the Adopt a Tree in the morning and the Adopt a Kid in the afternoon.
(This is because the kids have other activities in the morning)
2. Due to budget constraints, we have to drop the Puppet Show Package for the kids. Instead, we will have a customized program and picnic with the kids.
Note to Program Committee (although not part of the official meeting): Around 1-3:30 pm yung program natin. Suggested 'major' games/actvities are: Treasure hunt/ Eco Race (ask around kung ano mas maganda, parang tiring pag both) Greeting Card Competition/ or any activity na sit ang kids at ang partner nilang ate at kuya. Getting to know you game (point kc ng adopt a kid is talagang dapat may bonding tau na with our partner kids) Since wala na din tayong eco tour package, pede din magkaron ng alloted time for this. Budget activities may eb provided, sample, gusto nyo mag bike ng partner kid mo or something, may mga activties kase sa Eco Park na may addtl bayad, we can provide for this I think. Siguro max of 100 lang per kid. Para naman ma feel ng kids na talagang "pasyal' ito for them.
II. Updates per Committee
a) Fin Com (Collected money as of Nov. 24, 2009)

Marketing Strategy:
1) Sponsors/Donor who will donate 1k and above will get Give Love 2009 Shirt.
2) Souvenir Shirts are for sale after the event. Price may range from 200-250.
b) Transpo (Budget: 3,000)
No Updates but represented by Vince and Pearl. :) Vince said he will ask Kuya Choy (tama ba? ) and the DOST Coop.
Since, we will rent the vehicle for the day, it was agreed that we can also use this to go to the Eco Park for our morning activity (Adopt a Tree) Pick up Point: Philcoa. (Or kung madadaanan kayo ng way kung san manggaling yung sasakyan)
Note: Vince, sabi nag ni Uly, ang transpo, moving dapat. hehehee.Para d mabawasan ang budget mo hheheheh. )
c. Food (Budget: 5,000)
With proposal from Sweet. :) Apparently however, her menu is for lunch but we'll serve merienda to the kids lang. :) So sweet said she will revise her set menu. One major consideration is our food should be packed in an eco-friendly manner, otherwise it defetas one of the purposes of our activity (bawal styro-- hinde biodegradable)

Spaghetti (plus cupcakes na decorated para masaya tingan? hehehe)
For Lunch: (JOLOGS ONLY)
Pansit (c/o Fred)
Lumpia (para pde ding pang merienda)

Note. We're still not sure if kasya aba ang 5k na budget if isasama dun ang lunch nating lahat. If ever, hinde, we can buy there na lang or bring our own binalot) (Bawal ang styro/not eco friendly packaging. ehehe)
d. Shirt (4,000 - 4500)
Efren and I have already talked to a supplier, possible price range of shirt is from 130-150. Don't worry guys, this is accounted for sa 1k contibution nyo.
Note: Janice will check the qaulity of shirts mamaya from my officemate-supplier , naninipisan kc ako i need 2nd opinion) if ever hanap tau iba supplier or printing na lang sa kanila. efren, ikaw decide.
Initially we will order around 30 shirts, yung sobra bbgay sa mga donors. :)
e. Shopping/Giveaways/ Prizes (P 5,000)
Shopping for prizes and giveaways is set on Saturday, Nov. 28, 2009. Meeting time is 7am.
Note: Pls set the mtg place. Baka may iba pa gusto sumama. :) Open for suggestions pa pala kung ano ang gift natin for the kids. Budget is around 200/kid. May mga nagdonate na ng school supplies so iba pa. :)
f. Documentation:
Note: Walang updates kc walang rep. hehehe, pero ok naman ang ating blog site. You can also opt to promote our activity thru twitter/facebook/ etc.
III. Other Volunteers
Our friends/families/ officemates are welcome to join the activity. They will not be required to contribute 1k each. They can voluntarily donate any amount but we wont oblige them.They will however have to pay for their entrance. (P50) and contribute for the food
(P100-150) siguro and they can avail of the shirt na din at P150) So in all, mga 300-350 ang contribution nila, pero let's be clear to them na para yun sa entrance nila at food nila at shirt (pede ding d sila mag avail ng shirt)
To date, there are 3 friends who confirmed \to join us.

IV. Plan B
In case of bad weather conditions, we will just hold our party at CCF Ministry House in Mandaluyong.
Note: Alex, Please check if the ministry house has a venue for this.

There will be Special Prizes for Top Grossers :) Also, if you get donations in kind, please post it here so that the shopping committee will know kung alin ang meron na. Thanks.
